Guido LaPorta is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Philadelphia office and a member of the Healthcare & Life Science Practice. Focusing on healthcare services, he specializes in recruiting for medical and physician groups, managed care, healthcare IT, integrated health systems, PBM, and pharmacy clients.
Experience
Most of Guido’s work focuses on executive search and advisory work at the CEO and C-suite level across numerous functions and specialty areas. He works extensively with private equity-sponsored and founder-owned assets and partners with large, publicly traded, and non-profit entities.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Guido spent several years as a litigation attorney and advisor in an in-house counsel role at both the Housing & Redevelopment Insurance Exchange and Excalibur Insurance in Pennsylvania. The Housing & Redevelopment Insurance Exchange is a non-profit and fully regulated reciprocal insurance provider that provides reliable and affordable insurance coverage to more than 450 governmental entities throughout the state of Pennsylvania. In this position, Guido reported directly to the board of directors and handled all phases of insurance defense litigation and case management on behalf of HARIE governmental insureds in state and federal court.
Guido began his career in orthopedic medical device sales for a large medical device distributorship in Philadelphia.
