Overview
Jan N. Lauridsen is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Copenhagen office. He is a member of the Industrial Practice and global head of maritime. He is also a member of the CEO & Board of Directors Practice. Jan focuses on board, CEO, and senior executive searches for clients in the industrial sector, specifically in maritime, transportation, logistics, infrastructure, and energy. He works extensively with various private equity firms and performs global searches for international companies operating in these areas.
Experience
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Jan held senior leadership positions with some of the world’s leading transport and logistics companies. Jan has extensive international experience, and has lived in Asia and the Middle East for more than 15 years.
Prior to his career in executive search, Jan was the managing director, Asia Pacific at TORM. Before joining TORM, he was in charge of Asia for Inchcape Shipping Services and worked for American President Lines in various leadership positions, including serving as managing director for APL and APL Logistics in Dubai. Earlier in his career, Jan spent more than 10 years at Maersk in various shipping and logistics positions. Jan has also sailed as a captain for Maersk Line.
