Leo Li is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles' Shanghai office and a member of the global Industrial and Automobility practices, leading the Industrial Practice in China. He advises both global clients and Chinese companies on corporate strategy, operational efficiency, organization and leadership transformation, and digital innovation.

Experience

For more than 20 years in global strategy consulting in China’s auto and manufacturing sectors, Leo has helped clients achieve sustainable growth and successful transformations across China. He also advises the Shanghai Municipal Government on industry policy. 

Prior to joining Heidrick and Struggles, Leo led Oliver Wyman's auto and manufacturing industry practice in Asia and was a managing director and partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Earlier in his career, Leo worked at Alibaba during its founding stage. He is frequently interviewed by top media, including Financial Times, CGTN, South China Morning Post, Caijing, and others.
