Experience
Thabiso has over 25 years of experience in leading management consulting, financial services, and executive search companies.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Thabiso worked at the Johannesburg office of another global search firm, where he transformed the business from a predominantly work measurement and reward advisory-focused business to a full-suite organization consulting business, serving top-tier companies across sub-Saharan Africa. He led the development of the CEO & board practice, advising chairs and CEOs of publicly traded organizations on building effective boards and high-performing senior leadership teams.
Before this, Thabiso spent 12 years at Absa Group, one of the four leading banks in South Africa, where he held senior executive roles spanning business transformation and change, human resources, operations, and strategy.
