Overview

Charlie Michele is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office and a member of the global Private Equity Practice. He recruits investment professionals, operating partners, and business development professionals for both the general and limited partner communities.

Experience

Charlie recruits investment professionals, operating partners and advisors, and business development professionals. He also serves as an advisor to his clients, helping them navigate through portfolio company issues.

Charlie works with both the general partner and limited partner communities. Within the general partner community, his clients include buyout funds, growth equity funds, special situation funds, venture capital, and impact funds. His limited partner clients include sovereign wealth funds, fund of funds, insurance companies, corporations, and endowments. Charlie has expertise in the secondaries and GP stakes markets.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Charlie worked for BNP Paribas in their Financial Institutions Group. In this role, he focused on delivering BNP Paribas’ cross-asset strategy to their key hedge fund, asset manager, and financial sponsor clients. Before joining BNP Paribas, Charlie worked at Deutsche Bank as an analyst in their Global Equities sales team.
