Rodrigo Souza Magalhaes is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ São Paulo office and a member of the Performance Culture Practice. He has more than 20 years of experience in leadership consulting, organizational transformation, talent strategy, and business growth across Brazil and Latin America.
Experience
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Rodrigo was a partner at EXEC, advising clients on leadership assessment, executive development, succession planning, organizational transformation, and executive team effectiveness. He expanded the firm's consulting business, strengthened strategic client relationships, and delivered complex solutions for leading Brazilian and multinational organizations.
Before EXEC, Rodrigo spent more than a decade in senior leadership and professional development roles at a leading management consulting firm. He partnered with C-suite executives and HR leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities, improve organizational performance, and align talent strategies with business objectives. He also led the expansion of the firm's proprietary digital solutions business across Brazil and Latin America, implementing technology-enabled solutions for assessment, leadership development, job evaluation, and rewards while driving commercial growth.
Earlier in his career, Rodrigo had leadership roles at Itaú Unibanco and Great Place to Work. He also served on the board of Centro de Integração Empresa-Escola and was a professor at Universidade Metodista de São Paulo.
