Rodrigo Magalhães is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ São Paulo office and a member of the Performance Culture and Leadership Development practices. He has more than 20 years of experience in leadership consulting, organizational transformation, and talent strategy across Latin America.
Experience
Rodrigo advises boards of directors, CEOs, C-level executives, and HR leaders on executive assessment, succession planning, leadership development, and aligning talent strategies with business priorities.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, he was a partner at a leading Brazilian consulting firm, specializing in executive assessment, leadership development, compensation, job evaluation, and organizational transformation. He advised national and multinational organizations across Brazil and Latin America on executive development, succession planning, and improving the effectiveness of senior leadership teams.
Earlier in his career, Rodrigo spent more than a decade at a global talent management consulting firm, working with C-level executives and HR leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities, improve organizational performance, and align talent strategies with business objectives. He also led the firm’s technology-enabled consulting solutions practice, integrating proprietary methodologies, digital platforms, and content to support organizational climate, executive assessment, and leadership development initiatives.
Throughout his career, Rodrigo has had positions at Itaú Unibanco and Great Place to Work. He serves as a board member of the Centro de Integração Empresa-Escola (CIEE) and is a professor at the Methodist University of São Paulo.
