She specializes in life sciences board, CEO succession, and C-Suite executive searches, including CEO, COO, president, general manager, R&D, CMO, CCO, and CBO roles at large and mid-sized public and private companies.
Experience
Sahar has 18+ years of experience in executive search and talent advisory, with expertise in pharmaceuticals, biotech, life sciences tools and diagnostics, consumer health, and AI/tech-enabled platforms that serve the healthcare industry.
Previously, Sahar worked at another leading global executive search firm, where she was a global sub-sector and key account leader for the healthcare services and life sciences practice, working with clients across both sectors. She was the director of research for the Chicago office, leading a team of sixteen analysts and associates across a portfolio of executive search and talent advisory consulting.
Sahar began her career as a research assistant in the economics department at Columbia University, where she conducted research in industrial organization and game theory.
At Heidrick & Struggles, Sahar is a mentor and faculty for the analyst and associate development programs and is an active member of the American Asian and Pacific Islanders and People of Color Employee Resource Groups.
