Stuart Maeder is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ San Francisco office and leads the On-Demand Talent Private Equity Practice, helping private equity and venture capital clients address their most pressing business needs with high-end interim talent.
Experience
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Stuart was the regional head of financial services for new businesses at a leading human expertise platform, where he worked with global private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, and mutual fund clients.
Previously, he worked for 25 years in institutional equity sales and trading, directing West Coast equity sales at UBS and RBC Capital Markets, as well as Pacific Northwest/Denver at Merrill Lynch and the Southwest at Bank of America Securities.
Stuart began his career as an investment banker. He is a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserve.
