Vinod Mohan

Vinod Mohan is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Singapore office and a member of the global Technology & Services Practice. He has been advising C-suite leaders and boards on succession and strategy for nearly ten years, with a primary focus on high-growth markets across the ASEAN region, including the cloud, software, cybersecurity, and AI sectors.

Vinod has successfully placed directors and C-suite leaders across the technology, industrial, and fintech sectors. His career is defined by securing future-ready leadership to drive digital and AI transformation. Having worked across Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia, he has the unique cultural dexterity required to lead in the diverse ASEAN business landscape.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Vinod was a director of executive talent acquisition at Microsoft, leading the global executive recruitment team for the go-to-market commercial business organization across the U.S., Asia, and EMEA, managing the recruiting of corporate vice president and vice president roles, directing the global succession team in identifying the top 2% of the firm's executive talent.

Previously, Vinod spent a significant portion of his career at a leading NYSE-listed global executive search firm. As regional market leader for ASEAN, he specialized in professional search and CEO and board succession.
