Vinod Mohan

Vinod Mohan is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Singapore office and a member of the global Technology & Services Practice. He advises technology and software companies across Asia Pacific, with particular expertise in chief revenue officer, sales, go-to-market, regional president, and general management leadership appointments.

Having lived and worked in Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia, Vinod has extensive experience advising clients and executives across Asia Pacific.

He works with global technology companies, high-growth and founder-led businesses, and private equity- and venture-backed companies across software, cloud, cybersecurity, data, and AI. His clients range from pre-IPO businesses scaling across the region to public companies and private equity-backed portfolio companies.

Vinod assesses commercial and go-to-market leaders, including executives responsible for ASEAN, Australia and New Zealand, India, Greater China, Korea, and Japan.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Vinod was a director of executive talent acquisition at Microsoft, leading global executive recruitment and supporting its go-to-market commercial organization across the United States, Asia, and EMEA. He managed corporate vice president and vice president recruitment, global succession, and identification of high-potential executive talent.

Previously, Vinod was regional market leader at a leading NYSE-listed global executive search firm, specializing in executive search and CEO and board succession.

Vinod is an active volunteer with Save the Children, volunteering locally in Singapore and Malaysia. He supports multiple welfare organizations and has served several non-profit organizations in an advisory capacity to help strengthen their leadership. He is fluent in English and Malay.
