Chris Nagel is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Berlin office and a member of the global Technology & Services Practice. He collaborates closely with venture-backed software companies in hiring executives to drive rapid scaling across all growth stages.
Experience
Chris advises founders, CEOs, and investors of software companies on recruiting engineering, data, product executives, and board members in Europe. His clients operate within the B2B software industry across sectors, including AI, data, software and data infrastructure, and vertical SaaS.
With extensive experience supporting founders in scaling their ventures into highly valuable companies, Chris understands how to build leadership teams for the unique opportunities and challenges software companies face while undergoing high growth. He brings founder empathy to the table and provides clear guidance on making critical hiring decisions, with methods and processes tailored to that.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Chris was a partner at True Search, where he was co-head of their B2B software practice across EMEA. Earlier in his career, Chris worked at another international search firm and a boutique firm.
