Overview

Rainer Nagel is a managing director in Heidrick & Struggles’ Munich office. As co-founder of Atreus, an executive interim management company acquired by Heidrick & Struggles in 2013, he is one of the pioneers of interim management in Germany.

Experience

Rainer has more than 25 years of experience in general management, sales, and interim management. He focuses on projects and programs in restructuring, ERP implementation, value creation, cost reduction, international projects, and staffing interim top-management positions.

Rainer works with private equity, family-owned companies, and large corporations primarily in the technology and services, mechanical engineering, and consumer goods sectors.

Before founding Atreus, he had several senior management and board positions at leading consulting and high-tech companies, including Siemens AG.
