Beryl Ong is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Toronto office and a member of the global Consumer Markets Practice. She advises Canadian consumer markets clients across the retail, consumer products and services, and hospitality and leisure sectors. 

Experience

With more than 10 years of executive search experience, Beryl works with companies of all sizes and ownership structures, ranging from mid-market private equity-backed/privately held organizations to large publicly traded organizations. She executes full-cycle search engagements with a disciplined yet tailored approach, helping her clients navigate highly competitive landscapes to attract and retain top talent. 

Beryl’s network includes functional leaders in finance, sales and marketing, operations and supply chain, human resources, P&L leadership, and general management roles.

Before Heidrick & Struggles, Beryl was with another global executive search firm in Vancouver, where she was a member of the North American industrial and Canadian consumer practices.

A proud first-generation Canadian, her multicultural background brings a unique perspective on diversity, equity, and inclusion to each engagement, particularly when assessing fit.
