Experience
Yoshi has deep expertise in the manufacturing domain and has extensive experience in dealing with top management and senior-level projects across a variety of companies, from Japanese start-ups and joint ventures to major multi-national companies with global operations.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Yoshi worked for more than 15 years as a senior executive recruiter for major US and Japanese executive search firms, focusing mainly on the industrial and manufacturing industries. He has a strong track record of successfully executing complex, challenging searches for top management and executive positions in the Japanese market. He possesses a strong awareness of, and ability to effectively navigate and manage the sensitivities and complexities associated with executive search in Japan and Asia Pacific.
In addition to search projects in the legacy industrial sector, he also has extensive experience in managing cross-sector searches in digital transformation, IoT, AI, and data science. Prior to entering executive search, Yoshi worked for a major Japanese manufacturing company for 6 years.
