Overview
Luke Weaver is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Toronto office and a member of the Financial Services Practice. He advises a wide range of financial institutions across Canada and the United States. Luke also serves as global co-leader of the firm’s Wealth and Asset Management sector.
Experience
Luke’s search work includes partnering with banks, asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds, private capital, and alternative investment platforms. He conducts senior-level mandates across diverse business lines and functions, with a particular focus on senior leaders in investment banking and asset management. Functionally, he has deep experience in sales and distribution, portfolio construction, finance, human resources, and risk.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Luke was a managing director at CPP Investments, where he led the experienced-hire talent acquisition team for the Americas and Europe. Earlier in his career, he spent several years with a boutique search firm in London, concentrating on alternative asset management and sub-investment-grade credit. He brings approximately 20 years of recruitment and talent acquisition experience.
