Overview

Linda Zhang is the partner in charge of Heidrick & Struggles’ Shanghai office and leads the firm’s CEO & Board of Directors Practice in China. She is also a member of the Consumer and Industrial practices, serving the recruitment needs of global MNCs and local conglomerates for key management positions in the China region.

Experience

Linda has completed numerous senior assignments at both the Asia regional and China country level, as well as cross-border assignments working with partners in other regions.

Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Linda worked at Bain & Company, a top-tier global management consulting firm, as a management consultant, advising Fortune 500 companies on market entry and growth strategy, as well as organizational and human resources issues. She started her career in executive search as an associate at Heidrick & Struggles, before pursuing her master's degree.

During her early career, Linda worked as an associate at the World Economic Forum in Geneva, Switzerland, managing the forum’s relationships with the Chinese government, business, academia, and the media. She also worked as a business analyst at the investment planning department of China Eastern Airlines, based in Shanghai. Linda was born and raised in China.
