Walter Swanljung is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles' Helsinki office and a member of the global Technology, Financial Officers, Industrial, and Financial Services practices. He focuses on senior-level roles within a variety of sectors.
Experience
Walter’s expertise spans several functional disciplines including finance and control, operations, general management and technical roles. He has worked for large cap industrial companies, private equity portfolio companies, and Finnish subsidiaries of globally operating multi-nationals. Walter has also worked on several cross-border search projects with colleagues in other offices.
Walter joined Heidrick & Struggles in 2005, working as a researcher and consultant on more than 250 executive search projects. He has also participated in leadership advisory projects featuring a combination of executive search and executive assessment.
