Overview
Roman Wecker is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Frankfurt office and the managing partner of the Industrial Practice in Europe & Africa. He is also a member of the Industrial, Supply Chain & Operations Officers and Sustainability practices.
Experience
Roman works primarily with established companies in the industrial tech space, including robotics, automation, high tech, electrification, IoT, sensors, and connected industry. He also works in the building products sector and PE portfolio companies. Roman focuses on C-Suite and CEO and board director roles, with a functional focus on sales, service, strategy, transformation, operations, and R&D.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Roman worked for 12 years with Robert Bosch GmbH in China, Germany, and Switzerland. He was a member of the company’s business unit board, Powertool Accessories, with worldwide responsibility for marketing and sales. He helped design, shape, and implement two global transformation projects, one focusing on digitalization, including setting up a global digital unit, and the other on customer centricity and agility, including simplifying the organizational matrix.
Roman began his career as a senior business analyst at a global management consultancy. He is fluent in German and English.
