Overview
Aristotelis (Ari) Bassios is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Frankfurt office and a member of the global Technology & Services Practice. As head of IT and digital leadership in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH), he specializes in senior IT, digital, and technology leadership appointments.
Experience
Ari has more than 15 years of experience in executive search, leadership advisory, and senior talent consulting across Germany and the broader DACH region. He leads search engagements for international clients across the industrial, financial services, and pharmaceutical sectors, advising organizations on the appointment of CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, CDOs, and other senior technology leaders who drive complex transformation initiatives.
He partners with multinational corporations, private equity-backed businesses, and founder-led organizations on executive appointments, digital transformation, growth strategies, and succession planning.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Ari worked at a top global executive search firm, focusing on executive search, organizational consulting, and leadership advisory services. He also worked on the management board of a Hamburg-based technology scale-up. Ari is a native German speaker and is fluent in English and Greek.
