João Marco Frederico is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ São Paulo office and a member of the Industrial and Financial Officers practices. He has more than 13 years of executive search experience in corporate and divisional CFO, controller, audit, treasurer, investor relations, financial planning and analysis, and tax assignments. He works with a diverse client base, including small- and medium-sized public and private companies, as well as private equity- and venture-backed companies across a range of industries but focused primarily focused on chemicals, paper & packaging, and automotive.
Experience
João was a partner at 2Get, a local executive search firm in Brazil, when it was acquired by Heidrick & Struggles in 2019. He began his career in executive search in 2007 as one of the leading international players in specialized recruitment managing the São Paulo office, the company's main operation in Brazil.
Previously, João worked in a commodity trading and then worked for eight years at two large multinational banks in various areas such as credit, controlling, business planning, insurance and marketing.
