Alexis Hennessy is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Los Angeles office and global head of the Sales & Commercial Officers and Venture Capital practices. She focuses on recruiting customer-facing and go-to-market executives within the software sector. Her placements include COOs and CEOs, heads of sales, and post-sales roles, including customer success, support, and services.

Alexis works with clients at various stages of growth, including venture capital- and private equity-backed, and Fortune 500 companies.

Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Alexis spent more than five years at boutique retained executive search firms catering to private equity funds and private equity-backed portfolio companies. While at these boutiques, Alexis mainly focused on recruiting C-level executives to technology and tech-enabled business services companies and was responsible for marketing, business development, and strategic alliances.
