Experience
Devyn has a diverse career spanning executive search, law, and public service. Currently, she leads searches for a wide array of clients, ranging from small and medium-sized public companies to private equity and venture-backed firms, as well as mission-driven organizations.
Her primary focus is on identifying top-tier candidates for C-suite positions, senior in-house legal roles, and board positions. She is committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity in her work, spearheading equitable and inclusive C-suite searches, and actively seeking out diverse talent.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Devyn was a managing partner at a boutique executive search firm. She oversaw the firm's day-to-day operations, including the recruitment of senior leaders for social impact-focused organizations.
Prior to executive search, Devyn worked for the City of New York in both the Department of Education and the Housing Authority, where she contributed her legal expertise to public service initiatives. Devyn's career began in the field of law. She was admitted to the New York and New Jersey state bars and practiced law at a prominent firm specializing in representing school boards, mediating special education disputes, and litigating real estate matters in both New York and New Jersey.
