Richard Ker

Overview

Richard Ker is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office and a member of the Financial Services Practice in the UK. He focuses on a broad range of investment, wealth and private banking, and asset owner clients targeting board and senior management positions.

Experience

Richard has more than 20 years of executive search experience working with some of the world’s leading investment, wealth, and asset owner companies at both the board and executive levels. He works extensively for a range of global and multi-product investors as well as founder-led boutiques delivering specific asset class expertise.

Richard works with the UK’s leading wealth and private banking businesses and delivers projects for the boards of large pension schemes and their executive functions. Much of his work involves collaboration with international colleagues, especially in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Richard spent 16 years with another global executive search firm. Before that, he was with a leading boutique at which he was seconded to New York for an extended period.
