Kristin Luckenbill is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office and a member of Heidrick Consulting. She draws on her unique background as a professional athlete to identify ways to enhance organizational performance.

Experience

Kristin specializes in organizational acceleration, culture transformation, change leadership, and team effectiveness. She has significant experience designing and delivering large-scale professional development programs and is a certified executive coach.

Kristin drives organizational and team success by helping leaders establish and communicate a clear vision, align their organizational strategy with long- and short-term goals, and improve clarity around roles and responsibilities, capabilities, governance, processes, and metrics for their teams.

Previously, Kristin was an engagement manager at Philosophy IB, a boutique management consultancy focused on life sciences established in 2000 and acquired by Heidrick & Struggles in 2016. Prior to joining Philosophy IB, Kristin spent 10 years as a professional soccer player in the United States and abroad, winning a gold medal at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004. She is still active in the world of athletics, giving motivational speeches and coaching future soccer stars.

Philanthropy and Service

Kristin is also a member of the Athlete Advisory Board for ZGiRLS, a program designed to empower girls with confidence, courage, and community through the development of mental and emotional fitness in sports.
