Overview
Tonny Loh is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Singapore office and a member of Heidrick Consulting where he focuses on helping CEOs transform their organizations through strategic leadership development, culture, and organizational design solutions.
Experience
Tonny has more than 20 years of experience in strategy and organization consulting across APAC, working with governments, government-linked companies, fast-growth companies, including portfolio companies of private equity and venture capital firms, and large conglomerates on C-suite and board work. He specializes in top team acceleration and coaching, operating models, organizational design, job and career design, and strategic workforce planning. He focuses on helping CEOs and boards transform their organizations through strategic leadership development, culture, and organizational design solutions.
Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Tonny was co-lead of another leading search firm’s organizational strategy practice in APAC while also leading the public sector practice in Singapore. He was the founding president of KF Academy, which launched the national Human Capital Development program to develop Singapore's future HR leaders.
Before that, Tonny was the public sector and SOE practice lead for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Southeast Asia. Tonny started his career with the Singapore government, where his experiences ranged from manpower policy and planning, and foreign affairs—based in London to attract global talent to work in Singapore—and subsequently in New York with the United Nations (UN), working with Singapore’s permanent representative to the UN on ESG and sustainability topics.
Tonny serves as programme director for the Chairperson Board Accelerator Programme (CAP) and is a faculty member for the Listed Entity Directors’ Programme (LED) and the Board Readiness Programme (BRP), run by the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID).
