Overview
Paulo Mendes is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Miami and São Paulo offices and the regional leader of Latin America. He is a member of the CEO & Board of Directors, Financial Services, Venture Capital & Disruptive Innovators, and Private Equity practices.
Experience
Paulo founded and was managing partner of 2GET Executive Search (“2GET”), a Brazilian executive search company. 2GET ranked as a top local search firm in Brazil for senior leadership positions, including C-suite and executive-level positions. With 120 employees, it was the largest executive search consultancy in Brazil with 100% of its capital raised in Brazil before the company was acquired by Heidrick & Struggles in 2019. He previously led the firm’s consumer goods and industrial practices.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Paulo was an operating partner with Galicia Investimentos, based in São Paulo, where he led portfolio investments. He has extensive experience working with sales, owners, boards, and executives within the larger family- and private equity-owned companies.
Paulo is a member of the YPO Young President Organization at New York University.
