Vaché Petrossian is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Shanghai office and a member of the Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice. With deep market knowledge and expertise in Greater China and Asia Pacific, Vaché helps his clients to build winning organizations and assure long-term business success.
Experience
Vaché has more than 17 years of executive search experience in healthcare and life sciences in both Greater China and broader Asia Pacific. Throughout his career, he has partnered with various types of organizations ranging from Fortune 1,000 companies to small to mid-cap companies and helped them build their C-suite talent.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Vaché worked for another top global executive search firm in China. He began his recruitment career in China in 2005 and worked for two other executive search firms where he successfully established both of their life sciences practices.
Vaché began his professional career in 1998, working for two large organizations, including Johnson & Johnson, in sales prior to moving to China.
A true global citizen, he has lived and worked in the US, China, Iran, Italy, and France. He is fluent in English, Armenian, Persian, and is conversational in Chinese and French with limited proficiency in Japanese and Spanish.

University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), BA in History with a minor in Near Eastern Languages and Cultures
