Overview
Liz Zessman is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office and a member of the global Financial Services, CEO & Board of Directors, and Social Impact practices. She focuses on board, c-suite, and legal search and advisory work for clients primarily in the financial services sector and in particular for entities at the intersection of the public, private, and social sectors.
Experience
Liz’s expertise includes senior-level search and advisory, executive assessment, succession planning, and organizational design.
Her early experience at another global executive search firm focused on legal, compliance, and audit functions. Liz partnered with clients across diverse industries including life sciences, aerospace and defense, energy, higher education, financial services as well as non-profit and public sector.
Prior to beginning her career in executive search in 2011, Liz practiced law and was admitted to the New York and Connecticut state bars. Her practice emphasized civil litigation.
