Overview
Will Moynahan is the partner in charge of Heidrick & Struggles’ London office and a managing partner of the Private Equity Practice across Europe & Africa. He is also a member of the CEO & Board of Directors Practice.
Experience
Will helps clients build and enhance the boards and executive leadership teams of both private equity-controlled and publicly listed companies, as well as advise private equity firms on senior appointments across investment and operating roles.
Will works across sectors and markets, bringing specialist colleague teams together to advise clients on an international basis. He has previously served as managing partner of the firm’s London office and managing partner of the UK CEO & Board of Directors Practice and he currently oversees several markets within the firm’s Europe & Africa region.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Will was co-head of European private equity and a consultant within an international executive search boutique. Previously, he was a senior associate at a global executive search firm in London in their consumer, retail, and entertainment practice. Before that, he worked at a prestigious UK-based executive search firm as an associate. Will began his career as a research assistant to a UK government minister.
