Overview
Dorothy Badie is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York and Montréal offices and a member of Heidrick Consulting. She advises boards, CEOs, and CHROs on CEO and executive succession planning, executive assessment and coaching, and top team and board effectiveness to accelerate individual, team, and organizational performance.
Experience
Dorothy has considerable experience developing executives, teams, and organizations, and leading work across a variety of industries, including consumer products, retail, healthcare, private equity, professional services, industrial, education, technology, and non-profit.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Dorothy held management consulting roles at a small consulting boutique and an HR business support partner role at Transport for London in the UK.
Dorothy is a certified professional coach (ICF, UK). She earned an Integrative Neuro Linguistic Programme Practitioner Certification (IFPNL, Paris) and is certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, Hogan Suites, and the Wave Saville.
Dorothy is a co-author of “The overlooked weapon in the war for talent” and hosts an episode of our Leadership Podcast discussing ESG. She is fluent in French and English and has worked extensively across Europe and North America.
