Ryan has authored multiple thought leadership pieces on innovation, digital transformation, and talent in data and analytics, including an annual Europe and U.S. Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence Executive Organization and Compensation Survey, which examines organizational structure and compensation for executive roles with artificial intelligence and/or data analytics responsibilities.
His clients include Fortune 500, venture-backed, and private equity-owned companies. His functional search experience includes roles such as chief AI officer, chief digital officer, chief data and analytics officer, data scientist, and machine learning and AI leadership roles, as well as CEO and CTO positions.
Ryan frequently contributes to media outlets such as CNBC, CNET, The Wall Street Journal, and Forbes. His experience as an avid ultrarunner, having completed more than 30 long-distance races, shapes his approach to his client leadership advisory and executive search work.
