Overview
Boris Diekmann is a client director in Heidrick & Struggles’ Bremen office and leads the Culture Shaping Practice in D|A|CH. He has over 20 years of experience in organization-wide culture shaping, leadership development, and personal transformation, and is an accredited executive coach.
Experience
As a consultant, facilitator, and executive coach, Boris supports senior leadership from top global organizations, shaping high-performance teams and cultures. His work for an alliance of countries from Europe and North America includes co-developing and piloting the first executive development program.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Boris was head of culture at Majid Al Futtaim, a leading real estate, retail, and leisure brand provider in Dubai, the Middle East, and North Africa. Previously, he was a vice president with Senn Delaney, a culture shaping pioneer acquired by Heidrick & Struggles.
Before working as a consultant, Boris led the people development at the HQ of a Siemens division.
Boris is the author of the bestselling book, Chief Energy Officer: Universal Principles to Nurture a Spirit of Performance.
Boris has lived and worked in London, Genova, and Dubai. German is his native language, and he is fluent in English, Italian, and French.
