Gautham Parthasarathy is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office and a member of the global Industrial Practice. He advises Fortune 500 public and private companies, PE portfolio businesses, and high-growth ventures from Series A to IPO on building transformational leadership teams.
Experience
Gautham partners with boards and C-suites to identify and enable exceptional CEO and CXO (commercial, R&D, and operations) leaders who drive growth, customer activation, innovation, and digital transformation across consumer and industrial markets.
With 25 years of industry experience, he has delivered over 175 global executive searches across the chemicals, agriculture, materials, natural resources, packaging, building products, consumer products, and clean tech sectors.
Previously, Gautham founded and scaled a specialty practice within the industrial sector at another leading global executive search firm.
Earlier in his career, Gautham led global product strategy for Cooper Standard’s sealing business and was vice president and general manager at Michelman and Emerald Performance Materials. He also served as chief marketing officer for strategy consultancies and diversified conglomerates in India and held senior R&D and commercial roles at Monsanto, Solutia, Celanese Corporation, and GE.
He is fluent in English and Hindi.
