Sonal Atkins is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office and a member of the global Industrial and CEO & Board of Directors practices.
Experience
Sonal partners with private equity-backed and publicly-traded companies to recruit board directors and senior executives, including CEOs, divisional presidents, and operational and commercial leaders. She works across industrial manufacturing, services, and distribution, advising clients on leadership needs related to growth, transformation, turnaround, and succession.
In addition to her client work, Sonal has held several leadership roles at Heidrick & Struggles, including program manager for The Director Institute, a comprehensive development program designed to prepare executives for expanded operating roles and corporate governance responsibilities. She also mentors the firm’s associates and analysts and frequently participates in training and coaching programs for new joiners.
