Overview

Brian Kropp is the vice president of CPO Insights & Community Engagement based in Heidrick & Struggles’ Washington, D.C. office. He leads the firm’s global efforts to identify and amplify trends shaping the future of people leadership, producing signature thought leadership and executive forums that connect senior leaders across industries.

Experience

Brian works closely with practice leaders and senior clients to build platforms that advance strategic dialogue and deepen relationships within the C-suite. Through his work, he strengthens how the firm connects insight, executive engagement, and client impact to advance global talent and leadership outcomes.

With more than two decades of shaping executive thinking in HR and leadership, Brian is recognized as a leader and researcher in the HR space. He brings an informed, experience-based perspective to creating new research-based insights and translating them into practical advice, tools, and services inside organizations.

Brian has worked at several leading professional services firms, including Gartner, Accenture, and World 50 Group. As head of HR research at Gartner, he led one of the world’s largest HR research practices and supported thousands of global organizations. Brian’s work has been featured in Harvard Business Review, The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Fortune, and Bloomberg.
