The new board metrics of success: Preparing for a board role

In this excerpt from a panel discussion hosted by Heidrick & Struggles at the most recent Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit, women board members discuss their views on how to go about preparing for a board role.
Heidrick & Struggles

This past fall, Heidrick & Struggles was a proud premier partner of the 2022 Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit in Laguna Niguel, California. The theme for this year’s convening was “Realizing your power.” The 24th annual gathering bought together women leaders across business, government, academia, philanthropy, and the arts for inspiring conversations, one-on-one interviews, panel discussions, and interactive breakout sessions. This year, Heidrick hosted a series of boardroom panels including “The New Board Metrics of Success.”

The following video excerpt comes directly from that session and this clip focuses on how leaders can go about “preparing for a board role.”
