Brad Aspel is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office and a member of Heidrick Consulting, focusing on Executive Coaching and Top Team Effectiveness. He’s coached CEOs, CEO successors, senior executives, and leadership teams across industries globally, including finance, healthcare, retail, luxury goods, and technology.

Brad’s approach is to support and challenge clients to clarify the true leader they wish to be and to bring out the best in themselves, their colleagues, and their teams.

Brad’s passion is helping leaders maximize their potential by increasing their self-awareness, understanding their impact on others, and enabling thriving work cultures. Brad partners closely with clients to create leadership strategies that strive to achieve the organization’s aggressive strategic business goals as well as engage and develop the workforce of the future. His work includes one-on-one executive coaching, top team effectiveness workshops, and succession planning. Brad has worked across a wide range of geographies and industries.

Brad is also an associate professor at Columbia Business School, teaching courses on leadership and strategy. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Brad worked as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he partnered with Fortune 500 companies helping them break down complex problems and ideate innovative solutions. He then led global leadership developing and learning at the time, a fast-growing technology start-up, AppNexus.
