Jane Bargmann is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Boston office and leads the Healthcare & Life Sciences, Industrial, and Private Capital practices globally. She is also a member of the CEO & Board of Directors Practice and the firm’s management committee. In her 10+ years at Heidrick & Struggles, she has recruited over 250 C-Suite executives and board directors to publicly traded and private equity-backed companies.
Experience
Jane has over 20 years of international experience in executive search, succession planning, and management consulting. She collaborates with Fortune 500 boards, management teams, and private equity firms to recruit, assess, and develop chief executive officers and board directors in light of business strategies, challenges, and opportunities.
Jane’s expertise spans industrial, including diversified manufacturing, logistics, industrial tech, and process industries (energy, chemicals, materials, building materials), healthcare, life sciences, private equity, B2B services, and logistics. She frequently partners with colleagues in the technology and consumer practices to serve businesses that touch multiple industries.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Jane worked with CRA International and Marakon in their chemicals and energy practice, leading strategy, industrial development, and private equity due diligence engagements. She spent five years in the Middle East, primarily in Saudi Arabia.
Jane has represented Heidrick & Struggles at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit and frequently speaks on CEO succession planning.
