Experience

Jane advises public company boards, private equity firms, and management teams on CEO succession, board composition, executive search, and leadership strategy. For more than 20 years, she has partnered with organizations across industrial manufacturing and services, healthcare and life sciences, and technology to recruit transformational leaders and help clients make their most important leadership decisions. She has completed more than 250 CEO and board director appointments for publicly traded, sponsor-backed, and privately held companies.

Jane is particularly known for guiding organizations through periods of change, including CEO succession, acquisitions, restructurings, operational transformation, carve-outs, and exit preparation. Her work combines executive search, board succession, executive assessment, and leadership advisory to align leadership with business objectives and create shareholder value.

As global managing partner of the Industrial, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and Private Capital practices, Jane sets strategy and drives growth across three of the firm's largest and most strategic businesses. She leads many of Heidrick & Struggles' most strategic accounts, shapes their strategic direction and talent agenda, and has driven consistent growth through strategic hiring, innovative offerings, and market expansion.

Jane has also led the development of several of the firm's differentiated capabilities. She founded the firm's private equity pre-deal and leadership due diligence capability, helping investors assess management teams and inform investment decisions throughout the deal lifecycle. She also established the firm's Corporate Carve-out Center of Excellence, advising organizations through the leadership and organizational challenges associated with separations, carve-outs, and business transformations.

Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Jane advised global industrial companies and private equity firms on corporate strategy and commercial due diligence at CRA International and Marakon Associates. She also spent five years in the Middle East, primarily in Saudi Arabia, advising organizations in the chemicals and energy sectors.
