Susie Clements is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office and managing partner of the Finance and Corporate Officers Practice in Europe & Africa. She leads the region’s Financial Officers; Legal, Risk & Compliance Officers; Government Affairs & Corporate Affairs Directors; Human Resources Officers; Supply Chain and Operations Officers; Marketing, Strategy & Corporate Communications Officers; and Sales and Commercial Officers practices. She is also a member of the CEO & Board of Directors Practice.
Experience
Susie specializes in senior leadership and succession searches, with a particular focus on group CFO appointments and broader C-suite team buildouts. For more than 25 years, she has advised clients across industries on strengthening and reshaping their leadership capabilities through key hires in finance, legal, HR, and operations. Her work often supports organizations undergoing significant transformation, including mergers, carve-outs, relocations, leadership transitions, and ownership changes, helping new CEOs and boards align leadership talent with evolving business strategy and culture.
In addition to individual executive appointments, Susie partners with clients on broader leadership team rebuilds and organizational design efforts to enhance capability, succession depth, and long-term performance.
Previously, she was global co-head of the Financial Officers Practice.
