Liz Duggan

Liz Duggan is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ London office and a member of the Financial Services Practice. She works with clients across Europe and the U.K. and maintains a strong connection to the Irish market. She focuses on senior leadership appointments in investment banking, insurance, and the broader financial services sector, as well as selected corporate and board mandates.

Liz has more than 20 years of executive search experience, with deep expertise in building and strengthening leadership teams across investment banking and insurance. She advises global financial institutions, specialist advisory firms, high-growth companies, and other corporate organizations on critical senior leadership appointments.

Her work spans investment banking and capital markets, and she leads searches across all product and sector coverage areas for large financial institutions, boutiques and middle-market investment banks. 

Liz also advises large and middle-market insurance organizations on senior leadership appointments and the development of capital solutions and advisory capabilities across Europe and the United States.

Increasingly, her work extends into broader corporate leadership and governance, including senior corporate development and M&A appointments, as well as board searches for chairs and non-executive directors.

Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Liz was a partner at a leading executive search boutique in London and New York. She began her career in Citibank’s Global Markets division.

Liz participates in the Trinity College Dublin mentoring program, working with students as they prepare to enter the workforce.
