Overview

Michelle Doo is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Hong Kong office and a member of the global Education & Social Impact and Financial Officers practices. She has more than twenty years of executive search experience in the Asia Pacific region.

Experience

Michelle currently focuses on higher education and nonprofit organizations, conducting searches for presidents, vice chancellors, vice presidents, chief executives, and directors across academic, research, scientific, public, and philanthropic institutions.

Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, she spent twelve years with three boutique global search firms, covering Greater China, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, and India. She was involved in numerous C-suite and senior leadership search projects for a wide range of organizations across the banking, technology, telecommunications, media, professional services, and legal sectors.

Prior to her search career, Michelle was a manager at Hong Kong Art Concern, overseeing marketing, business development, public relations, and event management. Earlier in her career, she was a senior accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong (then Price Waterhouse HK).

Michelle was a member of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants (ASCPA).
