Overview

Christine Fuchs is a senior client principal in Heidrick & Struggles' Stamford office and a member of Heidrick Consulting. She focuses on leadership assessment, advising, and coaching across industries in the context of selection, development, and performance acceleration.

As a licensed psychologist, Christine brings extensive assessment, consulting, and coaching experience to her role.

Experience

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Christine spent 16 years at another global talent consulting organization, where she led a global team of assessment psychologists who delivered selection consulting to the firm’s executive search clients.

In addition to team leadership, she conducted high and low-touch executive assessments and consultations with internal and external clients regarding job and culture analysis, selection, succession, onboarding, and development interventions. Her role included delivering transition and onboarding coaching for executive placements and new internal partners.

Christine worked as a key member of internal teams refining the firm’s intellectual property, integrating that seamlessly into processes with best practices, and leading change management for significant assessment initiatives.

Christine has regularly collaborated with associations and professional groups to lead initiatives related to critical competencies for success in the workplace, women in leadership, and transition into the C-suite. She spent the first part of her career providing a broad range of treatment and consulting services to federal and municipal agencies, law enforcement, for-profit, and non-profit entities, schools, and hospitals. This included consultation with law enforcement officials on the assessment of police officer candidates and program evaluation to assess the validity and reliability of psychological assessment techniques utilized.
