Overview
Diane Govern is a senior client principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Chicago office and a member of Heidrick Consulting. She applies her data and industry experience to advise hiring teams on critical talent selection decisions.
Experience
Diane applies her industrial and organizational psychology skill set to her work in a variety of ways. She leverages her executive assessment skills to help clients select and develop leaders across many industries and levels of the organization and provides executive coaching to leaders in manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, and nonprofits.
Prior to her work in executive assessment, Diane led the talent development team of a nationwide construction labor management firm. She developed world-class leadership and sales curricula and advised the executive team on critical talent initiatives for the organization.
Early in her career, Diane honed her psychometric and project management skills as a consultant who custom-developed and validated selection protocols for highly scrutinized civil service roles, including police and fire. She led many projects delivering services to both public and private sector clients.
