Overview

David Hui is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Hong Kong office and the regional managing partner of the Industrial Practice for Asia Pacific and the Middle East. He also leads the CEO & Board of Directors Practice in Hong Kong.

Experience

David has more than 20 years of experience in executive search and consulting globally and across the APAC region, specializing in senior-level search, consulting and assessment in the industrial and financial services sectors. He has advised major financial services companies and leading corporates and family businesses in the region on many areas related to recruitment, talent, succession, and organizational development.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, David founded and ran a regional boutique leadership advisory firm. Before that, he served as the Asia Pacific head of the financial services practice for another top international search firm, leading a team of more than 40 consultants. Early in his career, David worked as a banking and finance lawyer at Allen & Overy and Baker McKenzie.
