Overview
Tanja Ivkovic is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Sydney office, where she leads the Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice in Australia and New Zealand. She advises clients locally and internationally across hospitals and health systems, multisite healthcare, MedTech, pharma, diagnostics, and life sciences services.
Experience
Tanja specializes in CEO, board, and C-suite searches, succession planning, and leadership assessment and development, primarily working with clients through the CEO & Board of Directors Practice. She is also a certified Hogan assessor.
Her experience spans private, listed, and not-for-profit organizations, and partnering closely with private equity firms on leadership mandates within their healthcare and life sciences portfolios.
Before relocating to Australia in 2021, Tanja spent nearly a decade in Dubai, building and leading the firm’s healthcare and life sciences practice across the Middle East, working extensively with both global and local companies. With the sector’s rapid evolution in that market, her work frequently focused on complex international mandates involving large-scale transformation, commercial growth, and digital and data-enabled innovation.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Tanja worked for major multinational companies in the United Arab Emirates, including GE and Emirates Group.
