Bill Kett

Overview

Bill Kett is a partner in the Heidrick & Struggles’ Melbourne office and leads the Social Impact Practice in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. He has built a wide network and significant experience in international search, having spent nearly 25 years in executive search.

Experience

Bill conducts searches at the vice-chancellor, chief executive, and director level for a wide range of institutions and organisations in the education, health, research, and scientific sectors, as well as government.

Prior to joining Heidrick and Struggles, Bill was a partner with KPMG. During his 12 years with the firm, he held a number of senior roles, most recently as partner-in-charge of a national executive search practice for KPMG Australia.

Early in Bill’s career, he held senior operational and functional roles in the public sector. He has a long-standing interest in global education, health, scientific research, and government markets, and has a deep understanding of the operational and cultural challenges faced by clients in these areas.
