Meg Wheaton is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Chicago office and a member of the Culture Shaping and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion practices. For more than 25 years, she has led transformative programs that drive meaningful, sustainable change. Meg focuses on helping Fortune 1000 companies shape powerful cultures by aligning executives around a compelling purpose and vision and activating both at every level of the organization.

Experience

With deep roots in advertising and marketing, Meg seamlessly transferred her creative capabilities and unique point of view to management consulting, pioneering differentiated offerings that build belief, change mindsets, and drive new ways of working. Her passion for uncovering and understanding the employee perspective and creating breakthrough, leader-led, immersive experiences helps her clients attract and retain top talent while enabling exceptional customer experiences.

She has worked with many of the world's biggest and best brands on engagements ranging from culture change initiatives to enterprise, function, digital, and Gen AI transformations.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Meg was a partner at a Big Four consulting firm, where she founded and led the creative activation team and capability, providing a unique approach to change management. Additionally, she led change activation for the firm’s Gen AI transformation and the Gen AI adoption go-to-market strategy.

Meg serves on the board of The Evolved Network, a not-for-profit organization that heals youth in some of Chicago’s most challenged neighborhoods through the power of teaching the culinary arts, service, and gardening.
