Michael M. Cullen is the Chief Operating Officer of Heidrick & Struggles located in the Boston office. He has overall responsibility for global field operations, client operations, and practice management across all lines of business and industry practices. He has full P&L responsibility and oversees all field personnel and resources. Michael also has responsibility for information technology, global marketing, and shared services and is a strategic talent adviser for a select group of companies.
Prior to becoming COO, Michael held various leadership roles within Heidrick & Struggles. Most recently he was the global practice managing partner for the Technology & Services Practice, overseeing one of the premier technology and services search practices in the world.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Michael was the head of the office of executive talent at EMC Corporation (now Dell EMC).
Michael earned an MBA from Northeastern University and a BA, summa cum laude, from the State University of New York. He also received certification in organization development from Columbia University and certification in leadership from Northeastern University.
