Marie-Hélène De Coster is the partner in charge of Heidrick & Struggles’ Belux region. She focuses on CEO, C-suite, and board mandates in the life sciences sectors globally. Marie-Hélène counsels clients across sectors on board assignments and board evaluations. She is involved in government affairs work across various industries in Europe.
Experience
With 22 years of executive search experience, Marie-Hélène was previously a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Brussels office from 2006 to 2012 and returned in 2016. Prior to rejoining the firm, she was a managing director at an executive search firm operating at the board, CEO, and C-suite level, and led the global medical device practice.
Before her executive search career, Marie-Hélène worked for Dow Chemical for 14 years, where she acquired a thorough understanding of global marketing, sales, and asset management. She also led complex supply chain projects in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa involving major regional manufacturing units across the regions.
Marie-Hélène is co-founder of a Belgian network of clinics in specialized medicine. She is a certified coach and is fluent in Dutch, French, and English, with a basic command of Spanish.
