Overview

Steve Jiang is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Shanghai office and a member of Global Technology and Industrial practices. He has executive recruiting expertise in both established multinational companies and fast-growing Chinese companies across technology, automotive, and diversified manufacturing industries. He places CEOs and presidents of Asia Pacific and China; presidents of global and regional business divisions; heads of operations, supply chain and purchasing; as well as corporate officers including CHROs, CFOs, CTOs, and CIOs.

Experience

Steve has more than 12 years of experience in executive search, having worked with multinational corporations as well as local Chinese companies to build top management teams. Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, he was a practice co-head for Greater China with another leading search firm.

Prior to search, Steve was in management consulting for 9 years. He was an associate partner and technology strategy practice leader of IBM Global Business Consulting in China, (formerly PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Consulting). There, he led a team to advise corporate clients on key strategic, operational, and IT issues.

Steve started his professional career in management consulting as a consultant with Roland Berger & Partner. He was also CEO of E-das.com, an e-commerce start-up based in Shenzhen.
