Stephen Schwanhausser is the Co-Managing Partner of the Global Consumer Products Practice at Heidrick & Struggles. He has been with the firm for more than a decade based in New York.
Stephen recruits Board Directors, Chief Executive Officers and Division Presidents as well as Chief Sales and Chief Marketing Officers. His clients include Fortune 500 companies, private equity and venture capital firms and their portfolio companies as well as privately held or controlled organizations. His practice is deep in fast-moving consumer goods, durable products and consumer services including ecommerce and digital distribution. His work spans high growth and disruptor companies as well as large established organizations.
His recent clients include: American Standard, BlackRock, Bauer Hockey, Chamberlain, Danone, Dollar Shave Club, The Hinckley Company, The Honest Company, JUUL, Keurig, Mastercard, Mondelez, Outdoor Voices, Pharmavite, Purple, Stanley Black & Decker, and Yeti Coolers among others.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Stephen worked for Kraft Foods in sales, category management, and trade marketing leadership roles. He, his wife Meg, three children, and black lab-border collie in Rowayton, Connecticut. He is an avid sailor, foodie and home improvement enthusiast.
Stephen is a graduate of Bucknell University where he was a double major in English and Psychology as well as being a division one athlete and captain.
